Long before President Obama grew angry at Standard & Poor's for its decision to reduce the nation's credit rating, former A.G. Richard Blumenthal was on the case.
Blumenthal went after S & P's for their credit practices rating back in 2008, specifically for its dual system of giving government bonds a lower credit ratings than to corporate debt.
The lawsuit is now in state courts, a spokeswoman for Attorney General George Jepsen told me.
